That, as of today, we officially have 454 members in the 10 in 10 progam? And did you further know that those 454 members' combined weight is 86,960 pounds?
I am so happy that so many people are trying to change their life for the better.
Remember what this is all about! This is not so much about fitting into that new wardrobe as it is living to watch your children and grandchildren grow up. We are here to improve our lives forever, and I'm proud of everyone who is participating!
So, that means we need to lose a combined 8696 pounds before Oct. 10 to reach our goal. Keep going, you're doing great!

I was just reading Health Tips at baptist-health.com. The tips that stuck out is "sneak a snack" ten minutes before each meal, something healthy like a handful of nuts or a spoon of peanut butter. It helps get a hormone that lets you know you're full working better. Also the "3-hour rule" where you eat small meals and 100-calorie snacks between to keep your metabolism active. Nice website, very helpful.
