It's Tuesday and I'm back to work today after my Razorback weekend in Memphis!
Today is the day I'm kicking it into high gear now that I can get in a rhythm. I parked in the parking space furthest from my office this morning, despite the cold walk. I also took the stairs to my floor (four flights to be exact). I'm not going to kid you, the stairs did me in early. I was huffing when I got to the top, but I made it!!!
For breakfast, I had one of those frozen breakfast sandwiches. However, it was the low fat/low calorie version made with turkey sausage and egg whites on an wheat english muffin (It was surprisingly tasty). I think it was about 240 calories, which is comparable to one of those weight-loss shakes. I am full, however, and because of the fiber in the muffin and the protein in the sausage and egg, I should remain full throughout the morning until lunch. Also, I'm on my third cup of coffee, but if I drink it black, there are no calories to contend with!
I'll update you again as the day presses on. Remember, if you have a few minutes to take a break today, take a stroll around the office or (if you're brave enough to battle the cold), a walk around the block. Every little bit helps!
