At least back in the office after my weeks on the road visiting with school officials.
I'm not quite back on my healthy plan, although today is the start of the rest of the journey. I'm not going to kid you. I have been horrible over the past three weeks. My goal to not hit the drive-thru each day blew up on the very first day out of the office, and didn't improve the entire time. Time, location and limited options led me to hit the burger joint way too much, even though I tried to avoid getting too much bad food (I didn't order a combo meal the entire time). Typically, I would order a burger and a diet drink with no fries, so I don't think I gained much weight, but I certainly didn't lose any during the trip. However, it is the healthy side that really took the biggest hit. Lots of processed food.
My wife and I are scheduled for a family portrait in mid-July, so we are kicking it in gear today to lose a few pounds before then so we can look our best.
And I will do a better job of keeping the blog up to date, now that I'm back in the office.
